I just can't believe how well this product WORKS! I'm not a religious person, but this, to me, is close to a miracle. I have never been more relieved in my life.
Barry Allison, Canada 09/10/2009   Review on RatePoint
I had neighbors laughing at me when I bought your unit. They paid between $18K - $22K (Cdn) for new systems. They are not laughing now. I even recommended your system to a friend and he bought one as well. Please post this for others to read and set their minds at rest. The Aero-Stream® product works!

(Chapter 9) Septic System Odors Sign of Problems

    .
In the event of failure, the property owner may have several options as prescribed by State code. They may have the option to replace the failed soil absorption component with a similar passive system, install an alternate passive system and alternate between each system, they may be required to install a more expensive active system, or be forced to install a holding tank.
Replacement passive systems generally have a cost starting at $5,000 and can be significantly higher based on the condition of the other components. The highest cost of a replacement system is not known; however, the costs can reach and exceed $40,000. In some cases, a passive system can be converted into an active system by installing a permanent aeration system with a cost starting around $6,000. This type of system would have operating and maintenance expenses greater than a passive system.
Yet another option may be to replace the failed septic system with an above grade soil absorption component such as a mound system. It also would have operating and maintenance expenses greater than a passive system. Based on sight conditions, a holding tank may be the only resolution with a cost starting at $2,000 per installed tank, and, multiple tanks may be required. This system requires the tanks to be pumped out by a licensed waste hauler on a regular basis with an average cost of approximately $145 per occurrence and as frequently as every 3 - 6 weeks. The problems in our lives usually occur at the least opportune moment. They may be financial, timing or personal grief. Unfortunately we must use the cards we are dealt. In the case of your septic system we must rely on the local “experts”. Again, unfortunately, the local “experts” may have limited knowledge on subjects beyond their respective profession. The pumpers are great at pumping, the plumbers are great at plumbing and the installers are great at installing. Most likely, none of these contractors fully understand both the mechanical and biological process. Because of this, they attempt to sell you their service or solution, none of which will ultimately solve your septic tank problem. Out of frustration, you turn to the internet to begin research on your own. A quick “Google” search leads you to hundreds of web pages that make claims of solving your septic system problem forever. These companies can supply the magic “bugs” or “chemical” that you simply flush down the drain and your problems are solved! If you read on you will fully understand why the aforementioned “solutions” will not resolve your septic system problem.
