Next Step Forward Reflects Steady Growth
Hartland, WI – June 17, 2008 -Aero-Stream® LLC, a national leader in residential water and wastewater treatment, www.aero-stream.com, will be moving to a new facility in July of this year. “We’ve been working out of leased space for several years,” explains Karl Holt, president of both firms. “We’re thrilled to have reached this point in our growth.”Solutions to problems, improved efficiency, and cost savings are the motivating factors behind Holt’s career in engineering and his impetus to found the two companies: Engineered Solutions, which was established in 1996, and Aero-Stream®, which was started in 2002. The new building, which will house both companies, is located in a commercial park in Merton, WI. The building will be completed in July, and a grand opening celebration is planned for late afternoon, August 25.
Proven & Patented Wastewater Treatment
Aero-Stream® LLC is set up to manufacture and market a proven and patented product designed to maintain and restore residential septic systems. The Aero-Stream® remediation process has approval in the state of Wisconsin by the Department of Commerce for repairing/restoring septic systems. Designed for easy installation, the product is listed by Underwriters Laboratories® (UL) as a corded appliance operating on a common grounded 115 volt outlet and meets stringent National Electric Code (NEC) requirements as a permanent outdoor appliance.
“Several years ago I became one of the many homeowners, who experience septic system failure,” explains Holt. “After investigating the only solution – a $15,000 replacement system – I began exploring ways to solve this common problem. I began my research and did some experimenting and testing. I concluded that an alternative solution could be implemented, and I launched Aero-Stream®, LLC.”
According to the EPA, there are over 20 million septic systems across America and up to 20% fail annually. Nationally, this costs homeowners over $130 billion to replace these failed systems. “The Private On-sight Wastewater Treatment System (POWTS) is perhaps the least understood and maintained system on an individual’s property,” says Holt. “What most people do not understand is that it is not a matter of IF their systems will fail, but rather WHEN their systems will fail. Our goal is to educate homeowners about their systems and emphasize the importance of proper maintenance, as well as provide a cost-saving alternative for systems beginning to show signs of trouble.”
The Aero-Stream® remediation process has been installed in virtually every system configuration and soil type combination and all organic or synthetic distribution component designs and materials – from gravel and pipe fields, chambers, drywells and seepage pits, to mounds, sand filters, cesspools, and lagoons. It has over a 90% success rate and offers a 12-months unconditional money-back guarantee.

Engineer & Inventor
Aero-Stream® Holt has both personal and professional experience with Private On-sight Wastewater Treatment Systems (POWTS). “Several years ago I became one of the many homeowners, who experienced septic system failure,” explains Holt. “After investigating the only solution available at that time – a $15,000 replacement system – I began exploring ways to solve this common problem. By profession I’m an engineer. I work with companies nationwide to develop mechanical, scientific and technical solutions to problems. I had to believe that a system, which had been virtually unchanged for decades, could be improved using today’s science and technology. I began my research and did some experimenting and testing. I concluded that an alternative solution could be implemented, and I launched Aero-Stream®, LLC.”
Holt graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. His career has taken him inside numerous big-name companies, including Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Master Lock, STRATTEC, Western Industries, Bolens/Garden Way, Lawn-Boy, Kohler Company, and Outboard Marine Corporation. He has several other U.S. and international patents across diverse products and processes, including two for Aero-Stream®. “I like the challenge of designing and developing products and systems that are better, faster, smarter and more cost-effective,” Holt explains.
