The Truth About Septic Aerators – Do They Stir Up Solids in a Septic Tank
As with most subject matter available on the internet there is both true and false information available about whether a septic aerator will stir up solids in a single chamber septic tank.
The truth is that if the septic aerator diffuser is not properly designed there will be inadequate settling in the tank. These inferior designs keep everything in the tank suspended allowing organic material to flow to the drain field. This will have a horrendous effect on the future functionality of the drain field.
The other truth is that the Controlled Aeration™ process provided by Aero-Stream® will not stir up solids and send them to the drain field.
